Employable Me assists learners in identifying their strengths, interests, skills, life stage limitations, and life stage opportunities. It assists them to explore possible pathways to employment or further study.
Topics include:
– identifying personal strengths and transferrable skills and relating them to career pathways.
– an introduction to studying at TAFE.
– initial preparation for job interviews.
– understanding the benefits of volunteering in building networks.
– developing a personal action plan.
Eligibility*
Victorian adults are eligible for Learn Local funding if they hold:
- Australian citizenship or New Zealand citizenship or
- an Australian permanent visa,
- Asylum Seekers with valid BVE, SHEV, TPV, BVF, 449 or 786 visa may also be eligible.
