What a Night! Celebrating Opendoor’s 14th Annual Board Scholarship Awards

ent of the year – the Board Scholarship Awards, held to recognise the resilience, determination, and outstanding achievements of our incredible participants. The evening was a powerful reminder of the courage it takes to overcome life’s most challenging barriers. Twenty participants, each with a unique story of perseverance, received awards that will help propel them forward on their journeys to personal and professional growth.
Throughout the evening, the audience was moved by the inspiring stories shared by our award winners, who bravely took bold steps to change their lives. From the first award presentation to the closing applause, not a single person was left untouched by the heartfelt stories shared on stage.
Adding to the night’s excitement, we were honoured to have two guest speakers, Tina Currah and Stephanie Raper, who captivated the audience with their personal journeys. Tina and Stephanie shared incredible stories of resilience and growth, showing us all the strength that can emerge from life’s trials. Their words resonated deeply, sparking moments of reflection and inspiration for everyone present.
The event also celebrated three exceptional employers who have set the bar high in workplace inclusion. Holyoake Air Management Solutions, Jefferson Automotive Group, and Loral Ipsum were acknowledged for their commitment to creating diverse, inclusive workplaces. These partnerships have not only transformed the lives of our participants but have also positively impacted the broader community. Thanks to their dedication, hundreds of our participants have found life-changing roles that provide stability, growth, and a true sense of purpose.
