As the end of 2026 fast approaches, it is natural to start thinking about what comes next. You might be considering a career change, looking for a way into a growing sector like aged care, disability support, or early childhood care and education, or wanting to improve your English language skills so you can take your next steps into work or further study.
It is easy to tell yourself to wait until next year to make a start. But you don’t need to put your goals on hold until 2027.
Opendoor still has a limited number of funded training places available for 2026 across our key vocational courses and language programs. Starting now means building momentum today, so you can step into the new year with confidence, progress, and a clear path forward.

Extra help when you need it: Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LND) support
We know that taking on study can feel like a big step, especially if you have been out of school for a while or if English isn’t your first language. We want to ensure you that worrying about assignments, math, or using digital shouldn’t stand in the way of your career goals.
Opendoor offers integrated Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LND) support on our Individual Support and Early Childhood Education and Care courses – and it’s funded by the government*.
LND support provides extra, dedicated assistance alongside your regular classes. A support worker or trainer sits with you to assist with:
- reading and understanding course materials
- writing assignments and preparing answers
- building practical math skills needed for the job
- navigating computers, online portals, and digital learning tools
- developing effective study habits and learning confidence.
This extra layer of support removes common learning barriers, making sure you have every opportunity to succeed in your qualification.
